We have decided to create a blog for Segue II. We want to share our stories, pictures and adventures with our friends and family, who have been crew in the past, and who will hopefully join us again on future passages. Jim and Joy
If a person must be obsessed by something, I suppose a boat is as good as anything, perhaps a bit better than most. A sailing craft is not only beautiful, it is seductive and full of strange promise and the hint of trouble.

Poulsbo Passage
We had a great time last weekend taking Segue II from Port Hadlock to Poulsbo. The weather was unfriendly for sailors (little wind and some rain) but we had a good time anyway. Poulsbo is a neat little town that takes Joy back to her "Scandahoovian" roots. The town even came with a goofy little group doing folk dances from the 14th century. (see video) Stopped at Hama Hama on the way up and got oysters to barbecue on the boat using a Bobby Flay recipe "Hog Island Oysters." WOW!
This weekend it's Isabel on Segue II for hopefully a few short sailing trips in Townsend Bay. I've been looking forward to this one since the day she was born!!!
